Scripture

God wrote a book we call The Bible. Written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, it is God’s Word to all people. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives. We trust in its accuracy, we believe in its history, we come under its authority, and we receive its prophecies.

The Trinity

God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Scripture reveals different operations, administrations and activities of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God the Father is seen as the Source, the Life-giver, the Creator.

He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. God is good; He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

The Son may be seen as the Stream, the Transmitter, the Communicator, the Messenger, the Word.
Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we could have life.

The Holy Spirit may be seen as the Stream, the Life-breath, the Revealer, the Power, the Love of the Father. 

His presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Mankind

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Mankind was created to live in fellowship with God but became separated by voluntary disobedience.

The Plan of Salvation

We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, signing the pardon of all who believe on Him. Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is to fill the believer with power; and is received subsequent to the New Birth.

Eternity

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

The Church

The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ, obeying His commands, and seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The church works together in love and unity to glorify Christ.

Evangelism 

It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded every believer to share the gospel of salvation to all nations. It is the duty of every Christian to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead.
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, remember the death of Jesus and anticipate His second coming.

Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith.

Financial Stewardship

We believe that the method ordained of God for the support and spread of His cause is by giving of tithes and free-will offerings.
